According to the Kazakh International News Agency, the framework agreement on further deepening cooperation on strategic projects in the energy field signed by China National Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan was included in the important results of the high-level visit. In addition, China National Petroleum Corporation also signed a framework agreement on the joint development of a 400-megawatt renewable energy project with the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Joint Stock Company, and signed a framework agreement on deepening strategic cooperation in the oil and gas field with the Kazakhstan National Oil and Gas Company. According to the above agreements, China National Petroleum Corporation will expand cooperation with Kazakhstan in the fields of oil and gas exploration and development, pipelines and refining, new eneOil and Gas Chemicalsrgy, oil and gas chemicals, scientific and technological exchanges and employee training, and will implement a 400-megawatt wind power project in the oil field plots of PK Company, and further promote the integrated development of oil and gas and new energy.
