Stimulation Tools Technology Helps Oil Field Increase Production

Through the introduction of dual-cavity mixed flow stimulation technology, the test of reducing back pressure stimulation in intermittent low-efficiency Wells in pre-salt oil fields has been successfully carried out. The first test well has been running stably for 85 days, increasing crude oil production by 8.5 tons per day, with a yield increase of 62.9%. The single well test results are good and the yield increase effect is remarkable.

Stimulation Tools

The pre-salt oil field is mainly produced by natural flow and continuous gas lift. With continuous development, the output of single well gradually decreases, and enters intermittent production or even stops production. Traditional measures to resume production and stabilize production will cause a lot of oil and gas resources waste, increase the cost of manual maintenance, and also have hidden dangers of environmental pollution.

In order to solve the above problems, the company organized a multi-department special research team to deeply study and analyze production data, compare and demonstrate solutions, break through the traditional oil and gas surface construction and production stimulation measures, and determine the introduction of double-cavity mixed transport to reduce back pressure production technology. This technology adopts a new idea of "double cavity liquid reciprocating drive" and successfully solves many technical problems brought by gas relative mixed transport pump. This technology is not affected by the gas-oil ratio, and can effectively reduce the wellhead back pressure and increase the production of a single well.

In the first test of H8038, a typical intermittent production well in a pre-salt field, a dual-cavity mixed-flow booster device was installed on the well's external transmission line to reduce the wellhead back pressure and thus the oil pressure while maintaining the external pressure. Since the installation and operation of the mixed transport unit, it has successfully achieved continuous production, with an average daily crude oil output of 22 tons, a cumulative oil production of 1,600 tons, and an oil increase of more than 600 tons without considering the natural decline.

The test shows that by actively developing and utilizing the new technology of double-cavity mixed transport, the production back pressure of oil well can be effectively reduced, and the production cycle of oil well can be effectively prolonged, which opens a new situation for stable production and increase of low-efficiency well in pre-salt oilfield.
