一)Release of steel wire rope

1. For the steel wire rope with the I-shaped wheel for winding up, the I-shaped wheel should be placed on a wire rack that can rotate the I-shaped wheel during rope laying, and then the end of the steel wire rope should be pulled to make it flat and unfolded. 

For steel wire ropes that do not have an I-shaped wheel for take-up, the rope should be rolled in a straight line in the opposite direction at the end of the rope to achieve the purpose of rope release. Remember to pull the rope end directly to avoid damage caused by tying the steel wire rope.

2. In general, the safety factor of winch shall be more than 6 times when it is used for lifting, and 9 times when it is used for important purposes.

3. After the wire rope is used for a period of time, lubricating oil must be added. On the one hand, it can prevent the wire rope from rusting. On the other hand, during the use of the wire rope, the steel wires in the same strand between each strand of the wire rope will produce sliding friction with each other, especially when the wire rope is subjected to bending force, this friction is more exciting, and the friction can be reduced by adding lubricating oil.

The wire rope must be operated strictly in accordance with the relevant regulations.

二) Daily maintenance

1. When storing steel wire ropes, it is necessary to clean the dirt on the ropes, apply lubricating oil, and then coil them. They should be stored in a dry place, with wooden boards or sleepers placed under the ropes. Regular inspections must be conducted and they should be placed indoors and Keep it dry to avoid moisture, which can accelerate the corrosion of the steel wire.Do not approach acids, alkalis, or harmful substances.

   2.The warranty period of steel wire rope is one year.To ensure the optimal performance of the steel wire rope, please use it as soon as possible within the warranty period. The steel wire rope stored by the user for one year must undergo another test before use, and the wire rope must be internally inspected by the supervisory personnel. If severe internal corrosion is confirmed, the wire rope should be immediately scrapped.
